Description

From Glassier, you reach the Pont alpine pasture and then continue on the usually well-trodden path that crosses a slope and enters the forest. With a diversion to the left (before which it is possible to ascend the wood directly, which is tiring), you reach a panoramic terrace shortly after which begins a traverse on which you must be careful, at the end of which you can arrive with the variant mentioned earlier. You reach the By basin overlooked by the chapel and Farinet house, which housed Luigi Einaudi during the last war. You can reach the chapel and stop there, or the Farinet house (if you keep to the right, you will reach the Cheval Blanc alpine pasture and from there the Farinet house). Behind the house, follow the road. After a few metres, if there is a lot of snow, it disappears, you then have to carefully cut the steep slope that falls on the dam lake to reach the village that only appears when you are about a hundred metres from it.
