Introduction

Very beautiful tour, although the first part must be done carrying skis on your back. The sunny exposure recommends an ascent early in the morning and possibly on a cold day to ensure a descent in not too soft snow.

Description

With your skis on, follow the steep path that climbs the steep rocky crags in a very scenic way. After a traverse, you come to an abandoned hut. Continue along a steep little valley, passing several water inlets until the slope softens. If you have not put on your skis before, the snow certainly begins at this point. Cross to the left along some beautiful little valleys, pass near the huts du Fond and continue across wide plateaus. The view of the glacier and the col valley is truly spectacular. This takes you to the base of the long valley, which with an increasingly steep path leads to the col.
