Introduction

Rhike classified as EE only due to the lack of a path between the Seure Alp and the summit.

Description

From the car park, go up along the road that climbs in St. Jacques to the end of the tarmac road where the path begins that climbs towards Fiery - Pian di Verra Inferiore. Climb up along the road for 10 minutes until you reach a fork in the road, where signposts invite you to take the road to the left, which immediately enters the small village of Fiery. As soon as you enter the village, turn right, passing by the Pensione Bellavista (Bellavista boarding house). After passing the village, the path tends to the left and begins to gain height with a few bends. Once out of the forest, the trail continues along a stretch parallel to the course of the small watercourse, until it again gains height with a series of bends passing to the side of what remains of Alpe Ventina. The path begins to lose slope again as it enters the Courtod valley until it reaches the junction for the Bivacco Città di Mariano bivouac, where you turn right now in view of the Palon di Tzere. Follow path 6c, which first descends slightly to cross a small stream and then returns to gain height first with a few bends and then with a long traverse to the left. When you reach the remains of the Seure alpine meadow, leave the path and climb up along the meadow on the southern slope of the Palon di Tzere, aiming for the evident cairn of stones located between the western anticima and the central peak. When you reach the cairn, turn right and follow the little path along the ridge to the summit of Palon di Tzere.
