Introduction
From Quinto al Mare to Monte Fasce
Description
Although it is close to home, this excursion to Monte Fasce... was missing...
From Bagnara, climb up one of the various possibilities along Corso Europa. From the cemetery of Quinto, you will find the Fie symbol and begin to climb... You will arrive in 1h15 from the forecourt of Monte Moro 408m.The summit is only 3 km as the crow flies from the sea and is therefore very, very steep... The summit (another 1h15), at 832 m, is disfigured by many repeaters... The 14-metre-high iron cross was blown down by the wind at the end of October 2018. The trip is nevertheless worth the non-trivial effort put in...
All in all: Excellent weather super visibility (in the first part). Dif. E - a total of 4h30 Tot (2h30 ascent, 2h direct descent) - about +850 m height difference
