Introduction

It is an ideal territory for non-mass tourist activities, although there is no lack of ski-lifts for downhill skiing. More suitable are cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering, while in summer hiking and mountaineering take place in an environment that has not yet lost its ancient rural connotations. Breaking the harmony is the dam, an enormous, vastly oversized dam built in the post-war period. Recently, attempts have been made to coexist better with this concrete barrier by using it for sports climbing competitions.
