In Val di Sole in Trentino in the Tonale area. From Vermiglio continue to Passo del Tonale after Forte Strino there is a car park with 5-6 parking spaces on the left and a forest road on the right that leads to Val Strino and Malga Strino.
Introduction
Beautiful ascent, panoramic view of the Presanella group, the Strino valley offers slopes of varying inclination, facing east and south. Beware of avalanches in case of loose snow. Once you reach the summit, a 360° panoramic view of the entire Val di Sole, and the Ortles-Cevedale, Adamello Presanella and Brenta groups.
Description
Parking the car, take the forest road through the woods to Malga Strino (1937 m) and continue along the valley floor, bypassing a steep rise on the left, and a flat area where the Strino lakes are located, keep to the right and zigzag up the slope to the Redival summit.
