Access

In Slingia, 1720 m, in the upper Vinschgau valley, there are only two car parks, both of which are chargeable at the beginning and end of the village.

Introduction

The Sesvenna hut is a typical structure of the Upper Vinschgau in a particularly attractive setting.

The Sesvenna hut is a typical structure of the Upper Vinschgau.

Description

From the second car park, you can choose to follow the signposts to the left (the outward journey) or continue straight on along the via crucis (the return journey). You pass Alp Planbell (Malga Slingia) with an intermediate refreshment point at 1868. Shortly afterwards there is Malga di Dentro 1923. Here the marked path bends to the right, but you can also continue on the wider straight track. Below the waterfall the altitude is about 2075 m and the Sesvenna hut is about 30'/40'at 2256 m, where you can take a well-deserved break.

In summary. Dif. T - 550 m asl - 3h30 tot.
