Introduction

A wide pass between the slopes of the Punta Allobrogia and the Tête de Ferret on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It connects the two Val Ferret valleys, the Italian and the Swiss, and marks the border between the Graian Alps and the Pennine Alps. The pass can be reached without great difficulty (E) on both sides, although on the Italian side the path is rather steep. A number of paths branch off from the pass: to the west you can continue towards the Bivacchi Fiorio, while to the right you can reach the Tête de Ferret and the more popular Col du Grand Ferret.
