Introduction
The Turin section of Giovane Montagna and Sergio Buscaglione's fortunate intuition to honour the memory of one of its most active members, Central President and editor of the magazine, a man of great steadfastness and humanity, a passionate devotee of the mountains and proponent of numerous social initiatives, of which it is sufficient to mention the Rif. Reviglio, the Pol, Rainetto and Mascabroni bivouacs.
The masonry work for the basement was carried out in the summer of 1981 with a team of friends from Valsesia; the bivouac was installed in September of the same year. The inauguration, in the presence of around 100 members, took place on 12 September 1982. The building has 10 comfortable places on two planks, foam mattresses and warm blankets.
