It grows gregarious mainly in spruce forests but not everywhere. Characteristic features of this beige-yellow fungus are the presence of a consistent ring, the wrinkled and pruinose cap.
It is little known in our area but fleshy and profitable.
A negative note, it accumulates radioactivity in the environment, in fact it is used to monitor the presence of Caesium, however, like all mushrooms it should be eaten in moderation and spread out over time, so it is certainly advisable to add this tasty mushroom to the famous mushroom mixture or to keep young specimens in oil.
